Beaches Around the World

When I was little, I lived in southern California, so the beach was no stranger to me! As I got older, I got the opportunity to visit many beaches, not just the good ol' Pacific Ocean! Here are a few:

Off the coast of the Baltic Sea, in Poland

Taking a rainforest hike off the coast of the Caribbean, in Costa Rica

Off the coast of the Gulf, in Alabama

Swimming in the Adriatic Sea, in Croatia

The good ol' Pacific Ocean with my sister in California

I'm not sure if I have a favorite beach. I love those California beaches, but I think the Baltic Sea takes a close second. What about you? Are you a beach bum?

    Oh, wow! How awesome that you've been able to visit all those beaches. I'm a little jealous...growing up in the mid-west, we didn't really have much of that sand/water combo - but I'm more of a mountain and snow lover, so I'm okay with that! However, my fave beaches were at The Sea of Galilee and The Dead Sea in Israel - can't imagine a better place. Thanks for sharing! Stopping by from Gussy!

    How fortunate that you've been able to visit all of these beautiful beaches! :-) My fav is Fripp Island, SC... for its simple beauty and for the memories we have there. I think it's safe to say I'm a Beach Bum, too... as are my kids and husband, ha.

    Wow! You've taken some amazing trips! I love the ocean in any location, but my favorite memory is of my honeymoon to the Bahamas.

    Wow...great beach collection!! Living in So Cal I have to say our beaches are pretty awesome...especially central coast, but England beaches are lovely as are Italy's...not sure I could really pick a fave!

    I am a total beach bum (my latest post was pics of my beach bbq last night) - I live very close but unfortunately don't get there that often. I love North Cornwall (UK) and also had a blast when I was in Croatia :) Some great pics here!

    I never thought of myself as a beach bum...more of a lounge lizard...lol Because I've also lived all over the world...in mostly warm climates and I love the sun and the water. I was born in Africa (Ethiopia) and have lived in Taiwan, Panama, Italy, Louisiana, New Hampshire (too darn cold for me ;) and now in the Carolinas.
