He was maybe six or seven, and waving enthusiastically at all the cars whizzing by. When I pulled into my driveway, I grabbed the dog and a few quarters and doubled back to the lemonade stand. I just couldn't help it. You've gotta support local businesses.... right?!

Did you ever sell lemonade as a kid? I'm so glad this classic tradition is still around, aren't you?
i love these stands! i never sold lemonade as a kid, and yes, support local businesses. i love it when i give 'em a dollar and tell 'em to keep the change & seeing their reaction. makes my heart dance <3
ReplyDeleteI saw one on my way home from work last week too! But you're better than me to go back :) I did it once with a friend on her street, but wasn't allowed on my street since it was "too busy." Love the pics you found!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a long time since I've actually seen one. I'd like to think that I would stop to support local business!
ReplyDeleteThe sad part about me is that I probably wouldn't have been able to buy anything because I don't ever have any cash!
ReplyDeleteI love the pics.
We used to try to sell lemonade but we lived out in the country so we didn't have many customers, someone did give my brother a fifty cent piece once and he loved it!
