My small sewing project
I'm definitely a beginner when it comes to my sewing machine. (I'm much more comfortable with paper crafting.) So I always get super excited when I try something and it actually works out!
Recently I made a little camera case for our new Canon. I didn't have a pattern to go from, or anything! So I'm pleased as punch that it actually looks decent:
Just don't look too closely at the stitches :).

Nice job! I really really need to learn how to sew. I confess, I have been taking a little time off lately due to wedding planning taking over my life, but I'm feeling ready to start again soon!

I think it looks great! I love sewing and this post reminded me that I need to make more time to do it soon. Keep up the good work and have fun sewing.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I'm not a sewer either but every once in a while I pull out the sewing machine I "borrowed" from my mom and try to make something. I've been working on a denim picnic blanket for a long time...I should pull that out again. Thanks for the inspiration!
