I'm writing today to help a fellow blogger, Amy. Amy is the mother of six children. Because of a serious medical condition, three of her kids needed liver transplants. Her youngest, David, (or "Captain Snuggles") just passed away this January. Amy wrote David's story here and here. Amy's husband, James, works third shift at Walmart. He's doing his best to provide for their family, but they face large medical bills and funeral costs.
Amy is not asking for money, but she does need help.
Crystal and I are organizing a fundraiser to help Amy, a fellow mother, sister, blogger, woman, and friend. Several small business owners have already agreed to help us. They are going to donate items from their shops so we can have a huge group giveaway! All the proceeds will go directly to Amy and her family.
The blogging community is stepping up to help Amy and her family. Would you be willing to help us spread the word about the giveaway? We'd love to have you on board with us!
