Sisterly

I'm currently in New Jersey, visiting my sister (she's on the left in the picture; I'm older) and my heart is full. We are doing lots of sisterly stuff, like:

thrift store shopping
doing cheesy photo shoots
eating gobs of ice cream
antiquing
laughing over silly things
going to cafes
reminiscing

All these things that we are deprived of save for once (and if we're super lucky, twice) a year. I wish we lived closer!

What about you? Are you close with your siblings?

  2. I am sibling-less. But I have about three hundred cousins and we all live really close which means we're all up in each other's business all the time. :)

    Have a great visit!

  3. How fun Sarah...sounds like you are having a great time. Love the photo!!

I actually don't have any siblings...I didn't know any different growing up, but now there are times that I wish I did. I'm glad my kids are close. :-)

  4. Oh, sounds like fun! My sister lives in town, so I get to see her more frequently, but she is a crazy busy RN, so not as much as I'd like.

  5. Sisters are the best! I had a fun day with my sister yesterday so I was just thinking about how blessed I am to have sisters to hang with. Thank you for your nice comments on my blog! I hope you and your sister make many wonderful memories that will last you until next time you see each other.

  7. So happy for you! Sisterly stuff is foreign to me, but I like when my brother wants to spend time with just me.

  8. Location wise, we are only an hour from each othe.r But, unwise decisions on her part have separated us. I pray for her constantly, and hope that someday we will be close again!

  9. Enjoy your trip - it sounds lovely (especially the ice cream part! haha)
I have a younger brother. Fortunately we have always been pretty close, and it only gets better as we get older :)

  10. I don't live near my 2 sisters and so wish I did. But when we are together we do the same kinds of things that you and your sister are doing!
