New skills I've developed as a Mama:
-holding someone with a wobbly head
-eating a meal in 6 minutes flat (although being a teacher gave me practice for this!)
-knowing what's on TV at any given time during the day and night
-making funny faces
-doing things one-handed
-surviving on an hour of sleep at a time
I'm sure you're a fantastic mama! William is precious :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Beth :) So happy for you!
DeleteAww, how lovely! Thanks for keeping us updated! God bless! :)
ReplyDeleteOh yea those all important mummy skills. Doing things one handed in particular. My biggest mummy skill was learning patience, which I had none of before. Now I have a great deal. Being a parent really shapes you. Have fun with it :-)

Who knew how many talents were hiding just waiting to come bubbling out once you become a mom. It's weird isn't it? William is precious. I hope you get some rest today
ReplyDeleteawwwwww yes!! i can eat sooo fast now, multi-tasking is always in full force for me!!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Those skills will just get better over time. Moms are the greatest multi-taskers. It's funny how we're suddenly able to do things we weren't sure we knew how to do before. :)

That's just the start of the many new skills you will learn! Before you know it, you'll be breastfeeding on the toilet! :)
ReplyDeleteI dont miss putting those skills to use. Oddly enough, I thought I would keep those skills forever, but 9 months later I complain about a night of 6 hours of sleep.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Mama!...it's been awhile since I've stopped by and looks like you've been busy! *such sweetness*
ReplyDeleteLove this and love the picture!
ReplyDeleteI used to watch tv in the middle of the night while I fed the baby so I didn't feel like a crazy person who was up in the middle of the night (which I was)!!!
Congrats!!! There will be times you'll really amaze yourself and use no hands at all! lol You'll develope a whole new skill set : )
