New Mama Skills

New skills I've developed as a Mama:

-holding someone with a wobbly head
-eating a meal in 6 minutes flat (although being a teacher gave me practice for this!)
-knowing what's on TV at any given time during the day and night
-making funny faces
-doing things one-handed
-surviving on an hour of sleep at a time

  3. Oh yea those all important mummy skills. Doing things one handed in particular. My biggest mummy skill was learning patience, which I had none of before. Now I have a great deal. Being a parent really shapes you. Have fun with it :-)

  6. Haha! Those skills will just get better over time. Moms are the greatest multi-taskers. It's funny how we're suddenly able to do things we weren't sure we knew how to do before. :)

  11. I dont miss putting those skills to use. Oddly enough, I thought I would keep those skills forever, but 9 months later I complain about a night of 6 hours of sleep.

I used to watch tv in the middle of the night while I fed the baby so I didn't feel like a crazy person who was up in the middle of the night (which I was)!!!
