I'm sad to say I don't own a single maxi dress! And I've wanted one for some time now. They look so comfortable and I think after the baby a lot of them are going to hide my tummy. In searching for the perfect maxi dress, I found so many that caught my eye!
Which one is your favorite?
Oh, so many lovely frocks! I'm a fan of the maxi, they're great for when it's warm but you still want a bit of coverage, although I've found only a few cuts are flattering for me. I think they'd make the perfect post-pregnancy summer dress!
ReplyDeleteoh, I love maxi dresses and they're on the top of my thrifting list :) I also love layering a shirt over top, like I am today!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I cannot believe you've made almost your entire pregnancy without one! I have been LIVING in maxi skirts already! I guess I only have one "maxi" dress.....i'm not sure it's even "maxi", but it's for sure almost "maxi". But the skirts....best thing ever!!!
ReplyDeleteTarget has some really cute, and super comfortable ones right now in they're regular section, but they have fold over waistbands so they're baby bump friendly. ;)
A maxi would be really great after the baby comes. I really like #7. You probably won't want anything strapless, though.

3 and 5 are awesome!! And yes for those "feeling a little fluffy days" these are fantastic for hiding out!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love maxi dresses! Sadly, they are always a tad too long on me. I have one that I wore last summer at my sister's beach wedding. I was really hoping to rock them all summer long with the baby bump, but I haven't been able to find any that are big enough up top (or if they are, its because I went up a size and then they are really too long!). I'm still on a desperate search. I love #6 though!

I LOVE #2 + 7!! All of these are so lovely Sarah!! I've found some really cute ones at Target in the past that are very pretty + not too much $$, you should totally go over and pick one up!! They have some pretty designs I am sure would look amazing on you!! :)
ReplyDeletenumber one. LOVE!
ReplyDeleteyes I always check the goodwill dress rack first for these-they're easy to spot! they are super comfortable and easy to wear--so great for work this time of year too in my opinion. Loving the print on #3!
ReplyDeleteoooooo...I love #3 and #5. #3 cause it looks kind of tribal and #5 because it reminds me of Mexico...so pretty. I want one!
ReplyDeleteMaxis are definitely my fav way to dress in summer. I just bought a new one over the weekend at a NY & Company outlet. Oh my, it's fab! Coral orange with this beautiful pale gold seed beading along the halter neckline. 1, 2 and 8 here are especially yummy.
ReplyDeleteOh my, that first yellow chevron one is loverrrly!
